Crane Inspections

The following items are to be inspected on a daily basis or for less active cranes, prior to its use. Additional daily or monthly checks may be required based on the type of crane and its use. Consult the crane’s owners manual for additional requirements. 

Daily Inspections

• All control mechanisms for adjustment and wear.

• All crane functions for proper operation. 

• All safety devices. 

• Crane hook, shackles, links, swivels and other components. 

• Wire rope condition and proper reeving.
