1. The structure of the crane cabin should be strong enough to withstand all the normal loads on the crane during operation or during maintenance, including a driver and a maintenance person and the forces generated by the movement.
The cabin should be securely connected to the suspension or support of the crane. When the cabin is mounted on the crane with a damper or other vibration isolating device, a second fixture to prevent the cabin from falling may be provided.
When the boom is tilted or the boom and items fall to affect the driver's cabin safety, the cabin should not be placed directly below the boom.
2. All supporting structures in the cabin should use non-combustible materials. The partitions, furnishings and connectors of the driver's cabin should be made of non-combustible materials or flame retardant materials, and fireproof materials can be used for the side panels and roof panels. The floor is covered with non-slip, non-metallic insulation.
3. The driver's cabin should have sufficient space to ensure that the driver can work and move under good ergonomic conditions. The size of the cabin should be determined by the way the crane works and the length of the driver's continuous working hours. The driver is best to sit in a sitting position, but it can also be operated in a standing position; if the driver stands in the driver's cabin or where he must stand, the headroom should be no less than 2m.
4. Closed cabins should be used for cranes operating outdoors or in areas without heating (except in areas with good climatic conditions). Cranes operating in environments with high temperatures, steam, dust, toxic or hazardous gases should be enclosed cabins that provide clean air with good sealing performance. Crane cabins that operate in heated rooms, or crane cabins that are used only for auxiliary work, may be open, and open cabins shall be provided with guardrails of not less than 1 m in height.
5. There should be no prominent parts of the interior of the driver's cabin that may cause personal injury. If it is necessary to highlight, it should be properly covered or taken to take protective measures. Special attention should be paid to the safety around and above the height of the person's head.
6. The driver's indoor wires and hydraulic pipes should be laid separately. In places where there is a risk, the wires and hydraulic pipes should be effectively protected against damage.
7. The interior of the driver's cabin should be easily cleaned.
8. The driver's cabin should be equipped with appropriate and sufficient internal lighting for the illuminance of the driver's room to be no less than 30lx. The controller may be provided with local illumination if necessary, but should avoid glare and harmful reflections: the lighting source should be controlled by a separate switch and should be provided with a power outlet for equipment overhaul.
9. When there is a danger of falling objects touching the driver's cabin, the top of the cabin should be provided with effective protection. When drainage is required at the top of the cabin, water should be prevented from flowing down the window or door.
10. The driver's cabin should have a safe entrance and exit; when the driver's cabin is equipped with a door, it should be prevented from accidentally opening when the crane is working; the sliding door and the external opening of the cabin should lead to a horizontal platform of the same height; when the driver is outside without a platform, generally In the case, the door should be opened inward; the swing door of the mobile crane driver's cabin should be opened outwards, and the sliding door should be opened backwards.
11. The cabin should have a maximum view that meets structural requirements and operational safety.
12. The installation location of the cabin, the size and position of the windows should be chosen so that the driver can easily see and monitor the loading and handling operations on the seat. To this end, some cranes can be equipped with devices that can move or rotate the cabin or driver's seat, or take other measures.
13. When the height of the window of the driver's cabin is less than 1m from the floor, the glass window shall be made unopenable or protected. The height of the protection shall not be less than 1m; the part of the floor of the driver's cabin with glass shall also be protected. When the protective window is installed in the bottom window and skylight of the driver's cabin, the guard rail should be as far as possible from obstructing the line of sight.
14. The windows of the driver's cabin shall be of safety glass or equivalent and shall be designed for easy and non-hazardous cleaning. If necessary, a glass wiper or washer should be installed to improve the field of view.
15. When needed, the cabin should be equipped with shading facilities that reduce glare, but must not affect the field of view.
16. The arrangement of controllers, display instruments, etc. in the driver's cabin and driver's cabin should be such that the driver is easy to operate and observe. The seat in the driver's cabin should be suitable for maneuvering the crane and reducing driver fatigue.
17. Important operating indicators should be eye-catching and installed in a position that the driver can easily observe. Indicators and warning lights and emergency stop switch buttons should have clear and permanent identifiable signs. The indicator should have a suitable range and should be easy to read. The warning light should have a suitable color and the hazard display should be red.
18. In order to reduce the noise felt in the driver's seat in the driver's cabin, measures to reduce noise should be taken technically. To determine the driver's exposure time in noise, consider the noise generated by other equipment (background noise) on the crane's work site that produces noise under normal operating conditions and the noise effect of the crane's own motion, and the duration of the background noise. Make weighting considerations.
When the crane is assembled and operated under normal operating conditions (as determined by each type of crane), the equivalent continuous A sound level measurement at the driver's ear should not exceed 85 dB.
Soundproofing materials and various accessories should be securely and securely in place.
19. The working conditions in the driver's cabin should be such that the vibrations experienced by the driver are not greater than the limits specified in ISO 2631-1.
20. In addition to extreme weather conditions, the operating temperature in the driver's cabin should be maintained between 15 ° C and 30 ° C during operation. For long-term operation in high temperature environment (such as some metallurgical cranes), the cooling room should be installed in the driver's cabin, and the heat insulation board should be installed under the bottom plate.
When necessary, measures may be taken to limit the harmful gases and excess heat entering the cabin, as agreed between the supplier and the buyer.
