More and more industries need to use bridge cranes in production. The main work of bridge crane is loading and unloading materials, so the lack of hooks. Lifting hook is one of the necessary parts of lifting machinery, can be divided into single hook and double hook. Generally, forged single hook is mainly used for lifting cranes below 30t, cranes from 50 to 100t use double hook, cranes from 75t to 350t use sheet single hook, and cranes from 100t and above use double hook.
How to select lifting hook for bridge crane? Crane hook design should also follow the following requirements:
1. If the hook is qualified after inspection, the manufacturer should mark the hook in the place that is not easy to wear and issue the certificate of quality. Marking shall include rated weight, production number, date of manufacture, manufacturer, original opening of hook, etc.
2. The requirements of the operating environment should be considered to meet the requirements of strength, plasticity, fatigue resistance and impact performance.
3. Surface and internal defects of the lifting hook of the bridge crane shall not be sufficient to affect its availability. The materials and purchased parts used in the manufacture of the hooks shall be provided with the manufacturer's technical certificate and other technical documents. Otherwise, the hook should be checked and used only after it has been determined that the performance is satisfactory.
4. According to the design and process requirements, the fiber direction of the forged hook should conform to the shape distribution of the hook as far as possible. After forging, the hook should be heat-treated.
5, the bridge crane plate hook rolling direction and fiber direction of each stack, should strive to maintain the same direction in the pressure, eliminate the use of gas cut formed by the thermal impact zone.
6. It is not allowed to connect or use forged or rolled materials to meet the performance requirements or difficult to make. If it is made by casting method, it can only be allowed if it is proved to be used or proved to be applicable through practical experience.
