I. Overview

Electric hydraulic orange peel grabs are equipped with overhead cranes or excavators according to the different usage purpose. If the hydraulic grabs are used on workshop overhead cranes, it will be often used to handling scraps metals, scraps papers, scraps coppers and other bulk materials. Specailly the grab crane will be used on yard gantry cranes and overhead travelling cranes, the crane work duty should be A5-A8 according to the actual operation times. The grab usually has 6 jaws or called 6petals grabs. The lifting capacity of grab is normally 0.5t-16t. If the hydraulic grab is used on the excavators, the opening, closing and rotating of grab is controlled by hydraulic system of excavator. Hydraulic grab could load and clear up stone, scrap steel, which is suitable to the excavator used on the working site such as building site, stockyard, steel mill. The grab usually has 2-6 jaws. The lifting capacity of grab is normally 2t-10t.
