I. Brief Induction of Gantry Crane with Traverse Beam
This double girder type gantry crane for outdoor yard use. In many pipe steel plants, gantry cranes are used to handle the pipes, billets rebar from stacking yard to transportation truck.
The main electric parts are Siemens and other famous brand. The motor is heavy duty slide ring type, Xindali brand or some other brand top quality in China. The buffer adopts polyurethane material and the brake is electric hydraulic type.
For handling long size heavy steel products, there should be a long carrying beam to keep the stability of the load. The magnets will be hanging under the carrying beam. By the rotating from trolley mechanism, the lower carrying beam also rotate accordingly.
