Waste to Energy Semi-Automatic Cotnrol Grab Overhead Crane Introduction

The semi-automatic overhead grab cranes are widely used in waste management plant. The crane long travel, trolley and lifting mechanism are driven by frequency conversion special motors, and each motor is equipped with a coaxial high-precision photoelectric rotary encoder. The encoder is a device that measures the motor speed and the number of rotations (angles). Each rotation circle of the motors, the encoder sends out 600 (or 1024) pulse digital signals. The vector control inverter controls the motor according to the encoder's feedback signal to achieve high-precision speed control. The programmable controller (PLC) performs high-speed counting according to the feedback signal from the encoder, calculates the number of rotations of the motor relative to the starting position, and calculates the distance traveled by each crane mechanism relative to the starting position. Then actual position of the grab will be calculated to achieve the purpose of automatic control .

The garbage crane has the above-mentioned programmed operation (semi-automatic control) and manual operation changeover switch. Under the manual control mode, the operators use linkage platform to control the frequency conversion speed regulation of the motors of the crane long travelling, trolley travelling, and lifting mechanism, and manually open the grab to realize the process of material grabbing and feeding
