I. Description

Crane wheels is a kind of device used to support cranes and loads and to cause the crane to travel on the rail, also known as sky wheels, crane wheels, wheel forgings, forged steel wheels, etc. Crane wheels is one of classification of forgings, mainly used in gantry cranes, port cranes, bridge cranes, mining machinery, etc., ZG430-640 cast steel is generally used on crane wheels. In order to improve the wear resistance and life of the wheel surface, the tread should be surface heat treated. The surface hardness is required to be HB300-350, and the quenching depth is not less than 20mm. The crane wheel can be divided into three types, double edge wheels, single edge wheels and no edge wheels according to the edge form. The role of the edge is to guide and prevent the trolley body from derailment.

Casting Wheel

1. Material: cast steel or cast iron;

2. Constitute: two wheels, one axle, four bearings, and other parts;

3. Loading capacity: 1-300 tons, can be customized.

4. The type of the wheels: single flange wheel, double flange wheel, hollow wheel sets and solid wheel sets;

5. The diameter of the wheels: 300mm, 350mm, 400mm, 450mm;500mm; 900mm, 1200mm, etc. Or as your demands.

Forged wheel

1. The material generally is 50SiMn and 42CrMo.

2. The processing method is Casting or Forging.

3. The heattreatment is quenching or hardening and tempering.

4. UT certificate available.

5. Hardness test is available.

6. Customized crane wheels meet differrent requirements.
